Mist Eliminator

A mist eliminator is a device used to remove pollutants, such as oil mist, engine coolant mist, chromic acid mist, sulfuric acid mist, and other internal vapors, from exhaust gases. It plays a crucial role in improving emissions, protecting downstream equipment, and increasing product purity. Mist eliminators work by utilizing the surface of a grid or composite rib to mechanically deflect and capture fog droplets, separating them from the airflow. These devices are commonly used in various industries to ensure cleaner operating conditions and comply with air pollution regulations.

FLTR provides a range of mist eliminator options, including wire mesh eliminators, cyclonic tube separators, standard and double pocket vanes, and Chevron mist eliminators. Wire mesh eliminators prevent droplets from entering the airflow, while cyclonic tube separators effectively remove high liquid loading in gases. Standard and double pocket vanes are versatile technologies suitable for retrofit upgrades and new constructions. Chevron mist eliminators are widely used in the industry due to their efficiency. FLTR also offers side exhaust mist eliminating filters.

We have a range of mist elimiators below however if you have a custom application please get in touch. Our team are ready to design to your specifications.
