About Chad
Rechard Serenio, known as Chad, is a Mechanical Engineer and Estimator at Purple Engineering, the company behind FLTR. A registered mechanical engineer with 15 years of experience, he prepares estimates across Purple's range, including FLTR filtration equipment.
Chad's background is in engineering design and estimating. Before joining Purple he worked as an Application Engineer, a Design and Estimate Engineer and a Technical and Product Manager, supporting a wide range of products and global business clients. His specialist experience is in the design and estimating of HVAC and variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems, along with product management and facilities management.
That design experience carries across well to filtration, where the right selection depends on flow rate, pressure and the duty the equipment has to handle. Chad brings that technical detail to each estimate, so customers receive quotes that are accurate and properly specified.
He studied Mechanical Engineering at the Technological University of the Philippines on a DOST-SEI scholarship, graduating in 2009, and passed the Mechanical Engineering Licensure Examination the same year. Chad joined Purple Engineering in 2023.
